About GCTF

Taiwan and the United States signed an MOU on June 1st 2015 to establish the Global Cooperation & Training Framework (GCTF)-a platform to utilize Taiwan’s strengths and expertise to address global issues of mutual concerns.

Within the past five years, the GCTF has held 26 international workshops, with more than 900 officials and experts from 60 countries participating in the events. Since 2019, Japan has co-hosted 11 GCTF workshops with Taiwan and the U.S., and has become a full partner to this framework. Australia also co-hosted the GCTF workshop in November 2019 and June 2020.

We welcome more like-minded countries to participate in the GCTF to further expand our cooperation under this framework.
